Policies

These are the policies that all parents and guardians must agree to.

Late Pickups:

A late pickup will be any pickup that happens between 6:05pm. After one late pickup the Director will remind you of this policy. Two of these late pickups in one week will result in a $20 charge that needs to be paid within seven days of that second late pickup. Any pickup after 6:15pm will result in an instant $20 charge that will also need to be paid within seven days. Failure to pay the charge within seven days will result in the Director calling the school to remove your student(s) from the bus route and the program.

Late Payments:

If your payment for the next month or next semester is due, there is a two day grace period. Therefore, your child can come to Kids Quest for those two days without any payment in. After the second day without payment the Director will call the school and take your child off the bussing route to the program. You will also need to pay for those two days your child was at Kids Quest. If you do plan on paying there is a late fee of $10 if it is past the two day grace period.

Discipline Policy:

Strikes:

Strikes are given to students when one or more students are making it difficult to move onto the next activity, i.e. non-stop talking during lesson or ruining a game on purpose, or if the student is doing something inappropriate. If the student has been told to stop by the leaders already, they will receive a strike if the behavior is repeated. At three strikes the student’s parents or guardians will be called to pick them up. These strikes renew each day for each student. We ask that a parent or guardian picks up their student within the hour of the first phone call. If the student is not picked up within that time frame, Kids Quest reserves the right to change the penalties.

Immediate Dismissal:

In the case of a student striking (i.e.-hitting or kicking) someone else or showing signs of extreme aggression, the parents or guardians will be called to pick up that student immediately. That student will also not be able to attend Kids Quest for the remainder of that week. If this occurs a second time within the semester, that student will not be allowed to attend for the remainder of the month. If this occurs a third time within the semester, that student will not be allowed to attend the remainder of the semester. The student needs to be picked up within one hour of the phone call. If your student is not picked up in that time frame, Kids Quest reserves the right to change the penalties.
